Jo and I are in Tokyo Airpot waiting for our flight to Bangkok. We survived a 13-hour flight here from Toronto. It is 4:30 pm. Tokyo time and 2:25 A.m - on March 10 - My Birthday!
A MAN IN FIRST-CLASS BOUGHT US CHAMPAGNE FOR US WHEN HE LEARNED IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY.....( we could not get rid of him......lol!)

    I checked Bangkok arrivals and was pleased to see your flight has just arrived and its a few minutes early (10pm your time, 10am here)

    Thanks Craig! Jo has just dozed off in her King size bed beside mine. It's now 4:35 a.m on Sunday March 11 and we have travelled for 23 hours straight with few breaks and little sleep. Running on "who knows what".
    We will sleep til we wake now - no limits, no worries. Then shop, walk and scout the hotel of my conference on Sunday. The whole city is under construction and the existing hotel and shops are NEW YORK "high end" style? Who has that kind of money?
    Can't wait to see it in the daylight!!!
