Kuala Lumpur: Part II

We were told "The Central Market" was a great place for shopping and bargains. The mass transit system is amazing in this city and we used the bus, Metro and LRT ( my favourite!)
At 1.60 "ringetts" it is also very inexpensive.

Got tons of keepsakes here. I was even attacked by a dragon……………..

I danced on these amazing "gel-like" tiles in a mall. After dancing on the piano star is- lol!

We visited the Bird Park and the Butterfly Park and the National Mosque. The Bird Park was fantastic! the Butterfly Park was pretty and shaded and cooling - but the butterflies were difficult to photograph.
I have never been to a mosque and I was quite impressed with this one. It took us three visits before we could find the time(s) open to public in between the prayer times. It was well with it.

This was a 30 minute show with birds doing all kinds of tricks and talking to the crowd. It was cute!

The Butterfly  Park

The National Mosque. HUGE, peaceful, elegant! (The robes were rayon and we were soaked when we exited……………….)
