Singapore: My favourite of the two cities.

Gardens by the Bay- you could walk around for a day without even paying for entrance to one of the many "Domes". Got there with a one-day "Hop-on, Hop- off" bus ticket. Brilliant. Three different routes - all day long.

View of the Botanical Gardens from the upper deck of the "hop-on hop-off" . We decided (rightly so) the Flower Dome at the gardens by the Bay.

Year of the Horse. Boy, I MAY get tired of seeing these guys all year long……...

Before the Flower Dome ( and I could not believe my ears) Victoria agreed to a tour on the Singapore Flyer. She hates elevators and is afraid of heights, but it was slow, panoramic and felt safe. What a view!

Visiting "China Town" in Singapore. Quite festive and we felt like we had walked back to Shanghai.

Read your Horoscope for Year of he Horse- both in Mandarin and in English. Victoria's having a great year - socially, romantically, financially and health-wise! And  me? I stopped reading after the first two sentences…...
Yup- a temple in China Town. It was under renovation and we were still allowed to tour. I finally started getting used to removing my shoes to see places

Modern Singapore in the background of this beautiful temple.

Found a little Japanese restaurant for dinner.

Toured Little India in Singapore- great bargains and a fantastic lunch! Victoria's first Indian meal and she LOVED it!

We ended the day perusing the sweets in an Indian sweets shop. Again, Victoria's first experience of Indian desserts. She was in heaven
