A harrowing first walk to the big grocery store- "Tops" - twenty minutes on narrow roads with no sidewalks. Two-way traffic makes it hard for drivers to give me space, but most slow down and acknowledge I'm there. I wondered whether I should be walking there at all, until I saw locals walking single-file on the other side.
Found a Pharmacy along the way- always good to know! Stocked up on (Thailand's equivalency) of Tylenol and Gravol. (Jet Lag persists- ugh). The Pharmacist spoke English and was quite sweet.

Be careful on those streets!!! Car accidents are still a main cause of death in some countries / cities! Walk with the locals - they know best.
ReplyDeleteI will walk with the locals. Since you told me my videos work- they don't for me once I upload them to the Blog(???)- I will video the terrors of walking "locally". It is twenty minutes to a major road with sidewalks in either direction. Once I'm there it's safer
