Hot and Humid - 40 C each day
We had lunch on Rahul's ticket. We met him on the Anantara (free) boat to the Sky Train. He was alone and insisted on paying our Sky Train Tickets - 37 Baht each (60 cents Canadian) and he bought us lunch. He is from Bombay and is here on business. Why he would want to hang out with two women in their late fifties is beyond me- but he was kind, funny and interesting.
Awesome Chinese Restaurant. Then Rahul returned to the Resort and we shopped for a SECOND pair of runners for Dawn - her feet are giving her a really hard time here……..
Cashew, mushrooms, chestnut, sweet peppers, tofu stir Fry
We shopped at the 7th largest shopping centre in the world for runners - "Central World"
These gals are everywhere- on the street - as big as a houses
Shoe Success! For the second time- hope these do the trick. Dawn's sister has christened me into the Sebire Sisterhood for shopping with Dawn - TWICE - for shoes. I have no words……….
Two for One ticket on my room for the buffet at the Anantara Resort- Indian, seafood, salads, pizza, dessert, stir fry…etc. etc….awesome! ( I am stuffed as I write this….)
Some kind of white fish- I went back twice!
Traditional Thai dancing on the deck where the Buffet was served.
An Indian wedding just steps away from our dining patio. Fireworks at 7 pm. for the wedding. We got a notice about this in our rooms today.
Music in the Lobby at night…………..
