Hong Kong!

I arrived safely last night  (January 13) . It is 10 C this morning- going to 18 C~ just One of the many reasons I chose this short jaunt! I am having difficulty uploading photos from my iPad mini. I have no VPN on this device and the instructions are in Chinese. I am posting to FB , however, for those of you have an account. Will upload photos here upon my return to Shanghai.
It is So Very nice to be in a space where English is heard frequently and the simplest tasks are performed without incident because there is no/very little language barrier. Didn't realize how much I missed it until landing here.
On the shuttle to the airport from the flight into Hong Kong I heard a male English speaker without a "trace" of an accent. I whipped my head around and the speaker was a young Asian male. Such a rare occurrence , I knew I was out of Shanghai
