Sometimes, it's the simplest things that are really hard to accomplish in a country where you don't understand the language and can't read the signs and the "logical" approach (Eurocentric) does not work…….
So, yesterday I headed out with a list that seemed impossible given these circumstances- and came home so happy!
First, the bathing suit. Didn't want to pay those outrageous prices in the Mall, so went hunting for a Mom and Pop outlet- and found one. Did not try the suit on- no place to do that - and WAY TOO COLD ( NO CENTRAL HEATING, REMEMBER?)
But, got it home and it fit!
Those of you who know me well, will notice the "cup size" is really big! Don't worry- no plastic surgery on this end- just three inches of padding lol!
Every piece of clothing I have bought here ( except the jeans from Marks and Spencer and The Gap) are XXL. This is my Bathing Suit tag
Look at this baby!!!!! This is my Wifi for my iPad mini- so I can travel anywhere and not be afraid of not accessing the Internet. My MacBook Air ( bought in Canada three years ago) has no problem picking up Wifi. But my "mini" bought here in China is not as cooperative. Don't really understand why????? But this little baby solves the problem. "Miller" in the Tech store was super-helpful! He even gave me home phone number in case I have problems. Works beautifully so far.
I was THEN able to download an App to download books! I can't tell you how happy I am having books!!!!
