!030 rmb divided by 8 people is roughly 128 rmb ($21.00 Cnd each for two bottles of wine and all this food!
Matt ( UK), Sunshine ( Shanghai - my translater), Bianca, (Germany), Murray ( Wales) and his wife Adelya ( Kurdistan), Laura ( Mexico) and her husband Bei ( Shanghai) shared a fabulous "Birthday dinner" with me tonight at the Singapore Fishing Boat tonight. Such lovely colleagues ! ( Only Victoria ( Russia) was missing).
It was my second visit to this amazing restaurant - ( it's only been here since December)- and Rowland - the owner -was at the door to greet us.
He planned the whole meal - Singapore "appetizers" and then two three fish dishes- two Szechuan- and one not too hot.

Murray and Adelyia - she is overdue with her baby- but you can't tell from this picture. We encouraged her to eat Szechuan to go into labour

Rowland happened to ask " Is it anyone's Birthday?" And, guess what? A Cake with candles appeared at the end of the meal!
What anise way to end the week! We ALL have Friday off - as students write their "monthly test"
