Danny- my Friday Lunch Partner in the School Canteen

We met on the stairs about 5 weeks ago. He approached me and introduced himself and asked if we could have lunch in the Canteen. We agreed Friday was best.
He spent two months in California studying and wanted to practice his English.
We have been meeting for lunch for five weeks now.
So sweet. So interesting.Gives me our interesting "out-of-the-way" places to visit in Shanghai.
He has promised and indeed "offered" to be  "GUIDE' to this city when he is less busy.
