As I was trying to figure out how to turn the dryer on, a colleague popped into the kitchen/laundry/living rooms. He told me that everyone dries their sheets ( and all other "big" items on the "balcony" (??????)
I got the "ayi" on duty and she took me down the hall, opened a door and we stepped out.
From the window, you can see the laundry from the residents here- including my sheets, duvet cover & pink pillow cases. ( I didn't have my camera with me, so I had to go back & shoot through the window)
Here is some of the other views.
In his last photo, you can (barely) see the Pearl Tower in the Pudong District.

You know...I had no idea how beautiful the city is.....I love your postings. Over here, western ignorance and arrogance, I always thought our cities were more modern...but seeing your photo's clearly a major city like Shanghai in China, is far more advance architecturally, promotionally in terms of street advertising and digital signage and banners....the raised roads...it is absolutely the most amazing city i have yet to see.......thank you for posting and i am very pleased that you are not restricted in showing your photos....i wish i had the health, i would love to be there teaching as well.......thank you.
