New glasses- scoping out a new neighbourhood & my Chinese Neighbours

Walked to a new area of my neighboruhood today. My colleague, Vicky - is away for the National Holiday- but I remembered hwo we got to this sweet little spot. Forgot my digital camera. After crossing a street - I decided NOT to take a chance to go back. So, I only had my cell phone. Will wait for 24 hours for the pics to arrive to my gmail. Don't really understand this? Any Tech people can explain?
Anyway- new glasses:

Typhoon Fitow is currently southeast of Shanghai and is expected to make landfall early Sunday evening as a Category 1 Typhoon.  FITOW is expected to bring sustained winds to the region of around 138 km/h. Wind gusts in the area may be considerably higher.  Landfall will generate significant storm surges and flooding across the impacted area.

Canadians residing in or travelling to the affected areas should monitor local news and weather reports, follow the advice of local authorities, and contact their travel agent or tour operator to determine whether the situation will disrupt travel arrangements.
