Emmanuelle, Sakamootoo Sun, Murray and Adelia and baby Alethea remain
Apparently, there is a huge backlog for processing new Visas and passports in England right now - and Murray and Adelia are anxiously awaiting the paperwork to bring Alethea home. I feel so bad for them. Adelia just wants to go home with her baby. Originally from Kurdistan, she has a Mom and five brothers and sisters who want to meet the new baby. They Skype- but it's not the same. I see this sweet child every day, as Adelia walks her up and down the hallway, rocking her to sleep. She is such a good baby!!!! I have not been able to get her to smile for me yet, but I'll keep trying.
And so the lounge and kitchen gets filled with "stuff" that people don't want- or don't have the room to take with them……….it's like a garage sale - but FREE. Of course, none of us have the room or desire to take anything - except the food.
Good old Matt- with a Chinese girlfriend who does not speak English - his Mandarin was better than even Emmanuale- who studied Mandarin for three years at university. It's a very difficult language.
