Hair in China. Unless you are a brunette, hair is a real problem.

ID Salon in a trendy part of Shanghai. Great reviews online - especially from European blondes.
So after looking like a clown with a really bad hair cut, I decided to take the plunge and give them a try
Warmly greeted at the door- just as the reviews said- and of course put right in the "window " seat - to show passers-by that "Foreigners" get  their hair done at ID salon…( so very tired of being the monkey in the cage…)

Two and a half hours to bleach the L'Oreal home  dye out (honey brown)  and yellow chunky bits beneath that- then toner and highlights and cut.

1400 rmb - $230.00 Canadian….but I am so happy! Colourist (  Sandy) and Stylist ( George)  both-  from Hong kong - both spoke English - both trained in Europe - and both use European products

Ice blonde highlights on a blonde base. The cut is highly textured- George really liked the hair pomade I brought with me
